Here’s What I’m Watching Later on YouTube!
How I Grow Hot Peppers in Zone 6b & a Look at the Meyer Lemon Tree I have not shown the container plants I over-wintered, like the ghost pepper plant. If you live in a cold climate, you can move your pepper plants to a container NOW to over-winter indoors – you will have loads of peppers to enjoy next year – just like me! Move them into a container, but leave them outdoors so they have time to adjust to the new soil in the container. Before frost hits, move them indoors. I found it is too much of a shock to put them in a container and also in a new climate at the same time. By doing it gradually, I had better results I will show you how I did it.

Bathtub Worm Farm update, some new residents for the tub.. Aug 2014 Thought I’d do a Bathtub Worm Farm update as we had some new residents move in I’m trying out some European night crawlers to see how they would go after talking to a mate on FaceBook, Cheers Steven
I got them from a place down in Victoria called “A1 Bait Supplies” if that’s any help to Aussies out there..
http://bit.ly/1tAtTFh Was most pleased with their price & service..
Some of the worms from this tub will be going out into the compost cage to help finish off the compost once it’s done cooking.. The rest will be left in the tub to help build up the population for the next compost cage..
Here’s the blog post on the mishap I had with the worms in the other bathtub farm..

Urine for Garden, Composting Urine Human urine is a great, natural, free source of Nitrogen for your soil or compost.
Flushing your urine after each pee, would waste thousands of gallons of water per year at home. Then, your valuable urine is not only lost, but it goes to a chemical waste center where they must use chemicals on all that water you flushed, since within the sewage pipes it has all gotten mixed with stool.
To minimize the water shortages seen in so many communities, an easy way to save water is by NOT flushing away your urine. Using for your compost or garden is an extra benefit. (If you just let it sit in the toilet bowel until you have a bowel movement, then the urine can start to smell up your bathroom, and your garden or compost would be missing out on a great source of liquid nitrogen.)
Try it…. it is much easier, cleaner, and normal than you might think.
