Here’s What I’m Watching Later on YouTube!

DIY Worm Casting Separator 1.0 This is my attempt at building a DIY Worm Casting Separator. I really don’t know if I’m doing it properly but so far it’s looking like it might work out. Right now, the big issue for me is the slope of the cylinder. I’ve set it at around five inches but to be honest, I really don’t know what it should be.

If any of you have experience building a Worm Casting Separator, I’d love to hear about it and get some tips and tricks. One of the reasons I’m building it like this is so that I can run a volume of castings through at once and get done quickly (so I can move on to other tasks), and so that I can exchange the screens out with other sizes and be able to sift and screen dirt from around the garden for other uses etc… I hope this all makes sense! :)

I think with a little fine tuning I’ll be able to make this DIY Worm Casting Separator work….fingers crossed!

More to come soon.

God Bless,

Wayne

Here’s What I’m Watching Later on YouTube!

Hybrid Worm Bin (The Best DIY Worm Farm) I wanted to show you my Hybrid Worm Bin. This bin was designed to service multiple functions very well, hence it’s called a Hybrid. I was looking for a worm bin design that would be easy to build but would allow things like proper air flow, water drainage, easy emptying of worm tea, a way for the worms to get back into their habitat, and an escape prevention ring. I needed the worm bin to do all of this at a fraction of the cost of a commercially available (in the store) option.

Additionally, because this is a home built Hybrid Worm Bin, I could have the tendency to be a but ugly and not be very aesthetically pleasing. So, I wanted to build this worm bin with aesthetics in mind as well.

I plan on making a How To Build A Hybrid Worm Bin video very soon. If nothing else, even if you don’t build a worm bin quite like mine, at the very least, you’ll know how to build a worm bin, you can modify it how you like.
